The static var generator (SVG) is a new type of special equipment for power reactive compensation, which is made of modern power electronics technology and digital signal processing technology based on high-speed DSP devices.
It consists of two main parts: instruction current operation circuit and compensation current generation circuit. The external transformer detects the reactive power content in the power grid in real time to obtain its command current. The command current operation circuit monitors the current in the line in real time, converts the analog current signal into a digital signal, sends it to a high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) to process the signal, separates the harmonic wave from the fundamental wave, and sends a drive pulse to the compensation current generation circuit in the form of a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal, Drive IGBT or IPM power module to control the inverter to generate reactive current meeting the requirements to achieve the purpose of reactive power compensation.

1. Good compensation effect
After compensation, the power factor is stable at the target value, and there will be no over compensation or under compensation of the system reactive power. Compared with traditional passive compensation, the effect is better, and dynamic reactive power split phase compensation can be realized;

6. Double layer heat dissipation design
SVG module separately designs upper and lower cooling channels for power devices (such as IGBT, connecting reactor) and control devices (such as control board, sampling plate, interface board, etc.). The two layers of cooling channels are closed and isolated from each other. The airflow of the two layers does not interfere. The heat generated by the power unit is directly discharged through the separate cooling channel, which will not affect the service life and safe operation of the control devices; The upper air duct adopts natural air cooling mode, which will not cause heat accumulation, insulation short circuit and increase product maintenance due to ash deposition. The overall heat dissipation effect of the product is good;
7. Low noise design
IGBT switch frequency is high and high-frequency noise is low. At the same time, low noise fan is used, with fan speed regulation function, effectively reducing the noise of the whole machine;
